My father was a dentist, and I was always interested in what he was doing. I didn't know that much about it until I actually went to dental school, and learned about it. It just, I knew I wanted to do something in the medical field, and it just appealed to me to go into dentistry. Well, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas, in microbiology. And then, I did my dental school training at the University of Tennessee, in Memphis. I have been committed to continuing education from the day I got out of dental school, and some years I've done upwards of 100 hours a year, and it is something that I will continue to always do. It's always changing, and you have to keep up with the technology. I see patients today that I saw from the day when I started practicing, and getting to watch some of these kids grow up, and now they're bringing their kids in to see me, it's very rewarding to build those relationships, and get to follow 'em through the years.
